About the work

What you see before you are two different human beings. I have no idea who they were. Here they are existing in a different spatial plane and time signature than our everyday life.

Had I done traditional street photography there is no amount of anything I can do in the camera that would render meaningless all their physical attributes.

I’m slowing motion down and pulling focus which is how you get the time distortion and the plane distortion.

A camera can be a kind of space and time transporter.
